“Wisdom leads us back to childhood.”

Registration for Religious Education is now open!
We look forward to having your children join us for a year of growing in faith, knowledge, and friendships. Religious Education is for grades PreK-12. Classes are 10:30-11:45 Sunday mornings. The first class will be September 7th.
If you are a returning family, you may use the shorter “Re-enrollment” form. If you are new to the program, please use the “First Time Registration” form.

A few notes:
– Preschoolers must be at least 4 years old and potty trained before classes start.
– We are currently re-evaluating how to run our High School program next year (e.g. time and frequency). If you would like to register a high schooler there is no cost and we will be in touch soon with additional details.
– This ministry is completely run by parents and volunteers. Please consider volunteering in some capacity.
If you have any questions regarding the classes or registration process, please contact the Director of Faith Formation, Calvin Smith, at dre@stbridgetberryville.org
Faith Formation
Our job is to help kids share the life of God. From Pre-K to 12th grade, our dedicated volunteers help parents form their children through teaching, play, prayer, and love. As children grow through the program they will have the opportunity to receive the sacraments (see below), learn the Bible, the history of the church, how to pray, and how to live a rich, holy, joyful life.
Faith Formation occurs each Sunday from 10:30-11:45 at Hobert Hall, between Labor Day and the 1st Sunday of May.
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now closed. Please contact Calvin Smith to enquire if you are still hoping to register a child.

Sacramental Preparation
The life of God comes to his people through the sacramental gifts he has given his church. As our kids work through Faith Formation they will be learning about, and preparing to receive, First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. Those children who have not yet been baptized have the opportunity to take separate preparation classes.

Child Safety
Protecting our children is our top priority and a sacred task. All of our employees and volunteers who work with children are required to receive a background check, an extensive training course, and yearly re-training. Hobert Hall, where classes are taught, was designed with safety in mind, with a single entrance and multiple exits.
